A growing developer with a creative mindset
I am Zachary Scott, a high school student from Brisbane, Australia, with a strong interest in design, digital creativity, and software development.
I am currently relearning web development, problem-solving, and user-focused design. I enjoy building things that are useful, thoughtful, and visually engaging.
What motivates me most is the combination of creativity and logic: turning ideas into experiences, and learning how technology can solve problems in practical and meaningful ways. I also find interesting in creating experimental user experiences for websites, such as Billy-Bit and zsdev..

I am fascinated by how software shapes daily life and how creative thinking can be used to build useful tools, digital experiences, and problem-solving systems.
Design
I enjoy exploring visual design, layout, and the way a strong aesthetic can improve usability and communication. Good design makes ideas easier to understand and more enjoyable to experience.
Writing & Ideas
I care deeply about expressing thoughts clearly and exploring philosophical, social, and creative ideas. Writing helps me process the world and sharpen the way I think.
Learning
I am always trying to improve. Whether it is programming, design, communication, or understanding how systems work, I enjoy the process of becoming better through practice and curiosity.

An experiment with github actions and python data analysis to analyse global natural disasters>
Billy-Bot
A knock of Alexa prototype that uses key-word recognition to converse with the user in pre-recorded audo-clips, written in python and hosted on a raspberry pi.
Image to Pixel Art Generator
An image to pixel art converter with a slider to select the pixel count.
zsdev
A faux windows 98 style website that showcases my projects and skills, with a focus on user experience and design. (Not finished however the concept is live at zsdev)
Personal Dashboard
A small dashboard programmed in python, hosted on a raspberry pi to show upcoming calender events, time, and weather.
Static Hosted Url-Shortener
An intuitive url-shortener that manipulates 404.html to bypass static hosting.>

Work Experience
I have no official work experience in the field of software development. However:
- I have completed several personal projects, which can be found in the Projects section.
- I am working with a friend planning and hopefully executing a desktop widget for my school's notices.
- I have worked at the golden arches as a crew member since march 2026.
